Convenient Waterfront Retail to Complete Third Residential Tower
Phase three of Waterfront Square’s residential development is well underway near Revere Beach, with the third luxury tower still on track to be completed by Fall 2024. While building exterior construction continues to make headway thanks to favorable weather this winter, interior fixtures and amenities are also moving right along for this 22-story building.
High-speed elevators have been installed, as well as key mechanical systems including plumbing, fire suppression, and electrical wiring on all levels. The model units are fully finished on the 4th floor, and drywall and interior paint are currently wrapping up in the majority of apartments as finishes come together in tandem with exterior facade installations.
Once framing, drywall, and paint have a chance to be fully squared away this spring, fixtures like flooring, cabinetry, appliances, and lighting will transform the interiors into move-in ready abodes for future residents later in the year.
“As the third tower comes together, we’re excited to offer more residents not just sweeping views of the Boston Harbor, but spacious floor plans ranging from studios to penthouse suites – all with access to over an acre of spectacular amenities,” remarks James Beckett, lead developer at Waterfront Square.
In addition to wrapping up the third residential tower, work has also begun on the street-level retail space along the 16,000 square foot shoreline promenade running between the towers. While mostly shell space at the moment, permits have been filed to build out seven retail bays primed for cafes, shops, and other charming establishments.
Future residents and visitors alike will be able to stroll along the pedestrian waterfront walkway while pausing to have dinner al fresco, sip coffee at an oceanfront patisserie, or listen to live music from an outdoor harbor lounge.
A central green space with fountains and seating will anchor the promenade, along with custom lighting and landscaping to create an inviting, dynamic atmosphere along the water’s edge. Signage has gone up promoting retail leasing opportunities, which are expected to fill up fast given the prime location in America’s first public beach community.
The leasing office continues to offer hard hat tours showing prospective residents construction progress, new floor plans, as well as a first peek at what will be Revere’s new community hub for delicious cuisine, unique shops, harbor views, and fantastic people watching as activity buzzes along this vibrant retail promenade.
“Seeing the new tower and retail spaces come to life bit by bit each week as opening dates get closer reminds us what an amazing visionary community is being built here – one that so many individuals and families will be proud to soon call home,” Beckett remarks as finishing details take shape both inside the towers and along the glistening waterfront they preside over.
